William R. "Bill" McPherson

McPHERSON, William R. Bill age 76 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday September 14, 2011 at Riverside Nursing Center. Bill was born December 30, 1934 in Dayton, son of the late Thurman & Margaret (Kimmel) McPherson. He was a graduate of Vandalia Butler High School, a U.S. Army Veteran, and was a business owner in Hollywood, CA. Bill spent his later years between Florida and Indianapolis and also worked for Meijer Stores. He will be remembered as a smart dresser who always looked good. Bill was preceded in death by his sister & brother-in-law Freida (McPherson) & Red Kershner and a niece Brenda Sammons. He is survived by his aunt Winnie (Burt) Wheeler of Beavercreek; nephew Steve (Deborah) Kershner of New Carlisle; niece Donna (Alan) Brasesco of CA and a host of other relatives and friends. It was Bills wish that his body be cremated and private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home.
