William A Reese

REESE, William A. age 85 formerly of Vandalia, passed away Sunday September 21, 2014 at the Masonic Home in Springfield. Bill was born June 30, 1929 in Davidson, TN son of the late Powers & Kathleen (Smithson) Reese. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, and a member of VFW Post # 9582. Bill was a retired employee of Laughter Corporation and McCalls-Dayton Press. He was a member of Vandalia Lodge #742 F&AM and was an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathryn, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Bill is survived by his children Emily (Jim) Dell of Bellbrook, William (Carol) Reese of Lascassaas, TN, and Pete Reese of Dayton; 4 grandchildren Emmy, Willie, Jennifer, and Mark; 3 great-grandchildren Zachary, Joshua, and Brandon; dear friend JoAnn Whitacre and a host of other relatives and friends. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, the Ohio Masonic Home or to the charity of your choice in Bills memory.
