Wilma Siler
Age 86, of Vandalia, passed away Friday, December 4, 2015, at Brookdale Senior Living in Englewood. Wilma was born June 27, 1929 in Jellico, Tennessee to the late Hobart & Nola (Gilreath) Creekmore.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Clarence E. Siler, Sr., in 2004; three siblings, Betty Enix, Chester Creekmore & Myrtle Pack; and by her son-in-law, Ernest Cupp.
Wilma was a member of the former Crossroads Church of God and for 30 years she was employed with Karen Carson Creations.
She is survived by three children, Ed Siler (Linda), Mike Siler (Belinda) & Jeanie Cupp; seven grandchildren, Dawn, Heather, Angie, Amy, Michael, Christopher & Derek; six great grandchildren, Nicholas, Amber, Nathan, Taylor, Ryan & Olivia; brother, Howard Creekmore; sister, Lois Cupp (James); and by her very good friend, Esta Campbell.
The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., Wednesday (12/9) at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Rick Smith officiating. Interment will be at Poplar Hill Cemetery in Vandalia.
