HOWELL, Yvonne, age 76 of Northridge, passed away at her home on September 3, 2014 surrounded by her loved ones. Yvonne was born October 17, 1937 in Pike County, Kentucky, to the late James and Rosie (Murphy) Williamson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Howell, 3 brothers, Benny, Lonnie and Dennis Williamson, 3 sisters, Elsie Belfry, Lacy Bevins, and Josephine Reynolds, her very special brother-in-law, Frennie Reynolds, 1 grandson, Robert Adkins, and 1 granddaughter, Jessica Cochran. Yvonne is survived by 1 sister, Mary Lou Fife of Florida, 4 daughters, Cheryl Brewer (Joe), Kathy Richmond (Varney), Robin Cochran (Petey), and Linda Burkhammer (Greg). Also surviving her are 9 grandchildren, Becky, Heather (Brian), Debbie (Corey), Junior (Angie), Rachal (Dave), Ryan (Allayna), Trenton Neal, Sherri Lea (Kyle), and Brittany. In addition, 9 great-grandchildren, David, Reagan, Zachary, Molly, Sadie, KayLynn, RobiAnn, Abby and LeeLend; her sister-in-law, Bonnie Kay and her husband, Larry Waymire (AKA: TROUBLE), her "outlaw" Ronnie Adkins, her extra special niece and nephews, Debbie Williams and Bill and Larry Reynolds, who were always there for her, as well as numerous other family members and friends whom she loved dearly also. Yvonne was an exceptional woman. She worked hard all her life and loved each of us with all her heart. She never complained; instead she chose to face each obstacle with that little twinkle in her blue eyes and that cute little grin she always had. She raised four daughters on her own, yet she was Mom to many, not just four and she was Grandma to all. Funeral services for Yvonne will be held at 1:30 pm, Monday, September 8, 2014 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with the Rev. Mark Moore officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, September 7 from 2-4 pm and also on Monday from 12:30 pm until time of service. Burial will follow at Willowview Cemetery. Many thanks to everyone for all the love, thoughts, and prayers sent our way for Momma and our family. Our family would also like to extend our deepest appreciation to Hospice nurses, Steve Alldred, Sandy Simpson and Yvonne Parker and also Fidelity nurse, Stacie Ballard for being there for Mom and us through this most difficult time. Many thanks to all who contributed to Momma's care. May God bless all of you as much as He has blessed our family! "Not goodbye, just toodle-oo until we meet again."
