Yvonne Monnin

MONNIN, Yvonne Fae (Bohannon), 68, of Union, formerly of Vandalia, passed away December 25, Christmas morning at home after a 4 month courageous battle with cancer. Survived by daughter, Tracy OBrien (Sean) of Chicago; son, Craig (Rachel) of Atlanta; cherished grandchildren, Connell, Cara and Cate OBrien and Adam Monnin. Preceded in death by parents, Hubert and Vallie Bohannon and brothers, Ray and Ralph. Yvonne was retired from General Motors (Inland), Kiser High School Class of 1957. She was a member of Inland Retirees Club and loved her friends in the Birthday Club. Yvonne will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Funeral service will take place at 10:00 am, Thursday, December 28 at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 435 E. National Road, Vandalia. Interment private. Friends may call at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia on Wednesday (TODAY) from 5-8 pm. If so desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Yvonnes memory.
