Charles F. Hicks

HICKS, Charles F., 91, of Tipp City, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023. He was born to Roy & Mary Hicks on May 5, 1932 in Middlesboro, Kentucky. Charles was a longtime faithful member of the Vandalia Baptist Temple. He was retired from Chrysler Motor Corp. after many years of service.

Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Wanda Hicks, in 2018. He is also preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Elmer, Thurman & Raymond Hicks.

Survived by his sister, Dolores Barton; several nieces & nephews; his beloved church family & many friends.

The family will receive friends 10 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 17, 2023 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia, OH, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. Pastor Rick Washburn, Jr., officiating. The burial will follow at Royal Oak Cemetery in Brookville, OH.
