David Lorne Sykora

Age 82, of Vandalia, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023, at the Miami County Hospice Unit with his wife Ann and his son Lorne by his side. David was born January 9, 1941 in Burton, Ohio to the late Ladimer & Rachel (Leuty) Sykora. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Carol Meyers.

A U. S. Navy veteran, having served as an Electronics Aviation Technician, Dave loved classical music, spending time with his family and being outdoors. He had a long career selling electronics.

Dave is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Ann (Kester) Sykora; his son, Lorne David Sykora & his wife, Lani; two grandchildren, Conley & Callen Sykora; three siblings, Jim Sykora & his wife, Christa, Susan Tinlin & her husband, Bill, and Brian Sykora; and by his extended family & many good friends.

Private services will be held at a later date.
