Scott E. Eley

Age 64, formerly of Vandalia and more recently of Hilliard, Ohio, passed away Friday, October 13, 2023, at Ohio Health Doctors West Hospital in Columbus.

Scott was born January 16, 1959 in Dayton to the late Glen E. & Elizabeth May (Jones) Eley.

Scott is survived by his loving wife of the past 43 years, Leslie A. Eley; two sons, Barry E. Eley & his wife, Aubrey and Jason S. Eley & his wife Emily; granddaughter, June Eileen Eley with another grandson soon-to-be-born, Jack Emerson Eley; brother, Mark Eley & his wife Lisa; sister-in-law, Karen Aleshire; and by his extended family & many good friends.

Scott retired from Frito Lay with 30 years of service, retiring as a District Sales Manager. He was an avid outdoorsman with a love for fishing, hunting and beekeeping.

The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 19, at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
